Salinomycin 12% is an anticoccidial drug. Salinomycin belongs to the class of ionophore antibiotics, and exhibits activity against almost all types of Eimeria that parasitize in poultry and pigs: E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. mitis, E. mivati, E. maxima, E. praecox.

Precautions: produces poisoning in horses (mammals). Do not use for turkeys and laying hens.
Prohibited to be used simultaneously with oleandomycin, tiamulin and other anticoccidial agents.
